Happy Schmalentimes Day!

For some, it’s the most romantic day of the year…for others, it’s just Tuesday.
Regardless of which bracket you happen to fall into, it’s VALENTINE’S DAY, whether you like it or not! I just wanted to drop in and tell you all a few things:
1) I’m wearing a red, silk robe that makes my skin feel as smooth as a baby’s bottom.
2) I’m boycotting chocolate this year, so I had my Nana send me 6-packs of yogurt instead. Strawberry…it’s healthy AND festively pink.
3) If you haven’t already, send some Valentine’s Day smileys on Facebook to remind your loved ones they’re not just a fart in the wind.
4) For those of you who are technologically advanced, send sweet V-Day smileys on iPhone to share your looooooove.

Dear Cupid, WTF?!

Hello my precious honeybees,
With Valentine’s Day just around the bend, I would like to send a very sincere ‘WTF?!’ to Cupid, himself. This year was full of breakups (Seal and Heidi), faulty marriages (cough, cough, Kim Kardashian) and sexy people being taken off the market by other sexy people (Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel). The question is, why am I not one of those sexy people?
Why is there no love for your man, Skip? I’m a fine specimin of a man- just ask my upstairs neighbor Edith Timmerman. She may be 84, but good looks are timeless, my friends. So, on behalf of…well… me, I would like to invite all of the single ladies out there to call me sometime before February 14th.

I’m going to be honest with you… I lost my laptop in a pile of wrapping paper this morning and I’m only just finding it now, BUT the good news is that Santa was good to me! I guess I was on his “nice” list after all…I mean, he wouldn’t get me silk boxers that said “Juicy” for nothin’, right? Even after that wedgie stunt I pulled on the grocery store clerk last week, I still made out pretty well from the big guy.

I think I speak on behalf of all of my Jewish friends when I say “Oy Vey”! The holidays are already here and Hanukkah is sneaking up on us like a bad wedgie after a long car ride. As most of you know, I’m half-Jewish and proud of it! Not only do I get to celebrate Christmas, but I also can enjoy eight crazy nights of family, dreidel and PRESENTS! Of course there is much more to the holiday than gifts and games, but this blog post is a special shoutout to all of my Jewish homies. Now listen up…it’s time to represent!

The Boston Bruins won the Stanley Cup! They shut out the Vancouver Canucks 4-0 in Game 7! GOOOOOOOO BRUINS!
Now, I’m not necessarily a hockey fan per se, especially when New York teams are not playing, but my bros and I did enjoy watching all the fighting and competition. That is the best part of sports: the competition. I think I am the most competitive of all my male friends. Why? Because I fight to get what I want and I defend my opinions. This is why I always get the girl… Yeah, you should be taking notes from me.
Speaking of competition, I’m always the best gift-giver amongst all of my friends- especially for Father’s Day! I know my Dad like the back of my hand. Want to step up to my level? I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend and celebrated to the fullest. My bros and I had a pretty epic weekend trying to wrangle in some sexy ladiessss. It didn’t work, but still…practice makes perfect, right?
This upcoming weekend is Father’s Day, which means I’m heading home to see the ‘rents. Ask me if I’m excited…go ahead. I AM! The Smiley family can PAR-TAYYYY like it’s 1999.
What are you all getting your dads aside from cards- the usual? I’m not 100% sure what I’ll get Pops Smiley, but I already downloaded the Father’s Day Pack of Smileys for iPhone! It’s quite possibly the coolest iPhone pack yet- Pops will love it. I suggest you hurry up and get it, though…there are only a few days left before Sunday is here! Not only is June a time of warmer weather and annoying ice cream truck instrumentals, but it’s also the beginning of Summer! YEEEEEEEEE HAWWWW! It’s about stinkin’ time if you ask me!
This morning I was reading my friend Jenni’s blog post about the Summer Smiley Pack, and it seems she totally jacked my blog topic for today. Because she was essentially “promoting” Smiley, which we all know is MY baby, I felt inspired to write about something near and dear to Jenni to say thank you. I would take her on a romantic date to Bubba’s Pizza to thank her, but she keeps claiming she’s allergic to dates. Whatever…
I’ve earned some may-jah bonus points sending custom-created bouquets to my lady friends using the Facebook App, The Flower Shop. It’s one of Jenni’s favorites, so I tested it out… talk about a CHICK MAGNET! You can design and arrange bouquets or send single flowers or pre-made bouquets. That bouquet is more beautiful than my Grandma Edith when she gets dolled up for church.

Hey everyone! Skip here, bringing you the latest Smiley news on this LOVELY Monday morning! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I had the pleasure of going antique shopping with my Nanny and then watching Top Gun with a couple of my closest broskis! I’m telling you, all this male bonding really makes me want a bro-cation…maybe to Aruba. OH! Or Cape Cod…I hear they have delicious lobster!
Anyway, enough about me…how have YOU been?! I wanted to find out if you’ve all been enjoying Smileys for iPhone? Not only are there tons of everyday Smileys to send to your homies, but they’ve also got special packs for major holidays and seasons. I’m talkin’ Father’s Day, Fourth of July and many more. The other day while I was holding up a glass to the door of our CEO’s office, I heard that soon they’ll be releasing a Summer pack, complete with swimming Smileys, sweating Smileys and sun tannin’ Smileys.
How awesome is that?! Now, all I need to prepare for the upcoming summer is a pair of new shades and the Summer Smiley Pack…and a babe. Any takers?

I just wanted to quickly pop in to let you know the top 10 things I’m thankful for on this lovely spring day! Here we go:
10) Skirts. Enough Said…
9) Tanning Season. I look better bronzed.

7) Barbecue season… I make a mean burger.
6) Beach volleyball…and beach volleyball skirts (obvs).
5) Mosquito-free outdoor naptime.

2) It’s baseball season and Derek Jeter is off the heezy.

Burros and Fajitas and Margaritas, Oh My!

Hello my little chili peppers!
My favorite time of year has officially arrived! One week from tomorrow is the most splendid holiday EVERRRRR- Cinco de Mayo! Let’s be serious, who doesn’t love Mexican food, wearing a sombrero and fish bowls full of Margaritas? 
As usual, I’m throwing my annual ’Cinco de Drinko’ party, complete with a pinata, mexican ponchos and donkey rides. Yeah, you heard me correctly…donkey rides. Unfortunately, I had to tell my good friend Jose-Bob that he needed to refrain from riding one of the donkeys after an incident last year left one of the animals in leg casts. (Jose-Bob had a few too many plates of tortilla chips that year, if you know what I’m sayin’.)
I invited all of my amigos (like how I worked my mad spanish skills in there?) via email, sent from my iPhone which is AWESOME because I was able to send Cinco de Mayo Smileys along with the invites! I downloaded SmileyCentral for iPhone and HAD to have the Cinco Pack- a special group of misbehaving, Mexican Smileys that are perfect for spicing up texts, Facebook messages and obnoxious fiesta invitation emails!
I have to go get ready for my par-tayyy, so I’ll be back. Does anyone know a good place to rent a Mariachi band? In the mean time, you should probably head over to iTunes to get SmileyCentral for iPhone while you still can.
